Northern New Jersey death metal/hardcore merchants GRIMUS formed in 2007, with a relentless DIY ethic, have been ravaging the ears of the Tri-State area metal underground ever since. The band's recently issued, self-financed six-song EP The Progress In Elimination was recorded in Clifton, New Jersey by Bobby Torres in Frightbox Studios (Abacinate, One Brick Down, The Grieving Process) and mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Unearth et al).
