At San Diego Comic Con 2010, Chandler Poling was a moderator for the panel: "Behind the Music: Composing for Sci-Fi, Horror, and Fantasy Film & TV". At that panel, composers Michael Giacchino (Lost), Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman (Heroes), Nathan Barr (True Blood), Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies), John Ottman (Superman Returns), and Jeremy Zuckerman (Avatar: The Last Airbender) all appeared to share a behind the scenes look at their work. They also discussed how they got their "big breaks" in the industry.

The NOX Accessory Auction

Attendees can bid for great prizes during a 15-minute auction section using whatever they have on their person, including costume parts, accessories, swag, etc. Auction items include:

• $15 to $100 iTunes and Amazon gift cards
  

Party Like a NOX-Star

• Attendees get a chance to express their inner "NOX-Star" by lip-syncing their way into the crowd's hearts using the provided wardrobe and whatever they have at their disposal to unleash their inner glam. The only catch is that they have to incorporate the NOX Specialist into their costume.
  
• Contestants get 60 seconds to rock out in costume, on the Future US stage.
  
• All contestants will receive a Comic-Con limited edition Specialist headset.
  
• Winners will be judged by the NOX Staff, and will also receive a $250 Amazon gift card.
  

The NOX limited edition Specialist features gold metal plating on both the ear cups. While NOX scientists can't guarantee that this strictly aesthetic enhancement will improve the already awesome sound quality, they have promised that only participants of the NOX Audio events will have a chance to get their hands on one of these super rare headsets.
